Asking for Help Would Give You the Edge You Need

The job market has become insanely competitive in the recent years. When I first started working, I was reasonably certain that I would find a job with my qualifications and I did. After a few years, I had to move on but was still able to find a job easily enough. I stayed with my previous employer for nearly 15 years until the company was forced to shut shop and I had to move on.

It was then that I got my first taste of the struggle of job hunt. The number of jobseekers far outweighs the number of jobs available. When I looked at the reality of the situation, I wondered if I should simply retire or start a business. While my friends and family did suggest that I start a business, I was reluctant. In the end, I did decide to become a businessman. After everything was in place, I found myself in a very different position.

I was the employer now

I started a venture with my partner but both of us were aware that the company would go nowhere without the right employees. But neither of us had ever handled recruitment. We didn’t know how we could attract the right candidates. We decided to reach out to experts. After looking around and asking for recommendations, we decided to hire the services of Nationwide Placements.

That eased the burden of recruiting. They were every systematic about it. We asked a lot of questions and wanted a profile of the idea candidate for us. We provided all the information that we could. We knew that most people are very reluctant to become part of a start-up. There’s a lot of uncertainty involved and businesses can fail. However, we didn’t want to compromise on the quality of the clients and the professional recruiters assured us that we won’t have to.

After a while, we started to get applications and suggestions from the recruiters. Most of the candidates they found were actually very suitable and qualified. We were even more impressed during the interview process. By the end of the recruitment drive we had a solid team that was a mix of young, bright-eyed and enthusiastic graduates and experienced and practical veterans of the job market. The combination proved to be immensely beneficial.

Recruiters from companies like Nationwide Placements can help you like they helped me. If you want to know more about them, you can call 01 940 202207.

Asking for a Recruiter’s Help is A Good Idea

Very few people actually believe that finding a job is easy. In fact, most people are actually prepared for the worst and do their best to stand out. The internet has several articles with expert advice and suggestions on how to land a job. But even with all those resources and suggestions, getting a job isn’t easy by any means. I believe that if it weren’t for Nationwide Placements, I would still be looking for a job, even after over a year of graduating college.

Everyone Struggles

That’s what I realized when I graduated at the top of my class in a highly competitive course. Most people assured me that my job hunt would be easy, that I would be selected right out of college and wouldn’t have to face the same struggles most job seekers faced. Despites these assurances, I knew that I would face some difficulty. After all, I had already faced failure once when I didn’t land an offer during the campus recruitment rounds. Nevertheless, I didn’t anticipate just how discouraging it would be.

Just like my peers, I used every tip and trick available online to make my CV more appealing. I registered in all the well-known job posting boards, and prepared as much as I could for upcoming interviews. I assumed that my greatest trial would be to pass the interview and impress the recruiters.

But I had to get there first and that was proving to be more difficult than I first imagined. I must’ve have applied to hundreds of job listings but didn’t seem to find any results. I even hired a professional to write my CV and optimise it, but the highly optimised CV wasn’t reaching the right people at all.

Eventually, I decided to register my CV with Nationwide Placements. Even though I could see that the company was run by experienced recruiters, I didn’t have much hope. I had just lost confidence in the value of my education and my qualifications. I mean, what was I supposed to think after several months of fruitless search? Surely, if my CV had something of value to offer, I would’ve gotten a response?

This company really changed things for me and got me the interviews. After a couple of months, I landed a job that I’ve come to love and enjoy. So if you’re facing the same situation I did, give them a shot. Just fill in this contact form or give them a call on 01 904 202 207.

Make Sure that Your CV Reaches the Right People

When I first started looking for a job, I was very excited about it. After all, that was the first step towards complete financial independence. It was also the first step towards starting a worthwhile career. Like all of my fellow graduates, I was looking forward to getting on with my life. I had some idea that it wouldn’t be as rosy as I imagined it to be, but I had hope for myself.

That hope started to diminish as days passed by. I had sent out what seemed like hundreds of different applications to job posts but had no luck. I knew that the competition was intense, but surely there was a job out there with my name on it?

CV Bank Helped

One day, I realized that my CV just wasn’t reaching the right people I just couldn’t spend all my time trying to browse through hundreds of different job sites. I needed to use my time more productively. But I didn’t want to miss any opportunity either. Frankly, I was uncertain if there was any solution to my dilemma and searched online for a solution.

I discovered CV Bank at this point. What they did was simple to understand. I had to upload my CV to their database and they would automatically direct it to recruiters and job boards in the industry I had chosen. I wondered if it would work and was worried about all my professional details being stored in someone else’s database.

One call to the company assured me that my details were secure and I didn’t have to worry about that information falling in the wrong hands.

My next concern was whether such services would actually work. After all, I did exactly what they were doing and saw no results. What I didn’t realize that they weren’t just directing my CV to the job boards, but also to individual recruiters not registered in the boards.

My CV was travelling and reaching places that it didn’t reach before. Of course, this yielded results soon enough. Within a matter of weeks, I had an interview. I wouldn’t say that my first interview was a roaring success, but at least I got one. Another soon followed and after a few more attempts, I got a job that suited me best.

In my experience, these services work very well. I often regretted the time I had wasted before I registered at CV Bank.  You can try contacting them as I did and hopefully your job hunt would go as well as mine did.
